Bring firearms and weapons to the cruise
One way to get kicked off a cruise ship and, even worse, arrested at port is to bring weapons and ammunition onto a cruise ship. You’d think no one would be stupid enough to do it.
Unfortunately, a man was recently arrested in Grand Turk for bringing ammunition. He claims the ammunition was inadvertently left in his backpack and he forgot to take it out before embarking on the cruise. If he is convicted, he faces a 12-year prison sentence for bringing in ammunition, as Turks and Caicos has strict rules on firearms and ammunition.
Bringing drugs
If you bring drugs on a cruise, you will be expelled immediately. Even if the drug is legal in your home port or state, it is still not allowed on cruise ships. Despite its legalization in many states, marijuana is considered an illegal drug on cruise ships.
A woman was banned for life from Carnival cruises for bringing CBD gummies on the cruise. She had CBD gummies in her backpack, which she said she used as an occasional sleep aid. The Miami security team discovered the gummies. Even though gummies are purchased legally and CBD is conditionally legal in Florida, Carnival cruise lines prohibit all CBD products, regardless of local rules at the cruise port.

Remember, if you are a smoker, play it safe and check with the cruise staff exactly where you can smoke so you don’t get into trouble. Also, be sure to properly extinguish your cigarette butts, as fire is a major hazard on a cruise ship.
Handling of emergency equipment
Cruise lines take safety as a number one priority. Do not handle safety equipment that is for emergency use only, such as life jackets. Don’t think about setting off the fire alarm; You will be immediately removed from the ship. The lifeboat is also prohibited. Don’t touch it or, even worse, get on it: you will be asked to leave the cruise!
Alcohol consumption among minors
Underage drinking is a big problem on cruise ships. Just because you’re sailing in international waters doesn’t mean there isn’t a minimum drinking age. Most U.S.-based cruise lines will enforce a minimum drinking age of 21, while other cruise lines will have a minimum drinking age of 18.
