Girl mistakes Prince Harry on magazine cover for her father in viral TikTok video

A TikTok of a toddler misidentifying a photo of Prince Harry on a magazine cover as his “dad” has gone viral due to the understandable mistake.

Last week, Elizabeth Ganus, who goes by the username @heavenstoberts on TikTok, uploaded a video of herself asking her young daughter to identify the man on the magazine’s cover.

“Who is this?” Ganus asked his little girl, as she showed him a close-up look at the magazine cover, prompting the little boy to look at the picture before placing a hand on the cover and replying, “Daddy.”

After looking at the photo again and then looking at her father off-screen, the little girl confirmed that the man in question is “Dad.”

In the clip, Ganus then turned the camera towards her husband, who appears to be the Duke of Sussex’s doppelgänger, with the child’s father sporting the same red hair and beard as the royal.

“When your daddy is *so hot* right now,” Ganus wrote alongside the clip, captioning Lorde’s lyrics: “And we’ll never be royalty…”

The video, which has since been viewed more than 5.7 million times, has sparked hundreds of comments from viewers expressing their understanding for the boy’s mistake.

“OMG that’s the prince,” one person commented, while another said: “Well she’s not wrong.”

Someone else wrote: “I didn’t expect it to be literally identical.”

Others jokingly suggested that Prince Harry’s wife Meghan Markle was actually the person who uploaded the TikTok, with one person writing: “Meghan Markle posted a TikTok like we wouldn’t notice.”

While Harry wasn’t present on TikTok, he and Meghan just welcomed a daughter named Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.

“Having one or two, but having a boy and then a girl, what more could you ask for?” Harry previously told Oprah Winfrey after revealing the baby’s sex during the couple’s recent tell-all interview.
