The Golden State Warriors have been oscillating between two timelines for several years now. According to Dieter Kurtenbach of the Mercury News, the Warriors may be making a mistake in their commitment to developing young talent while still trying to be a competitive team.
“It seems more likely that the Warriors are making the same mistake twice: They are betting on two timelines: the present and the future,” Kurtenbach wrote in lamenting the team’s delay in trading Lauri Markkanen. “And in that effort, they will make sure to have no timelines. Let me tell you, two in hand are better than two in the woods.”
