LIV Golf sensation Jon Rahm was visibly upset off the tee box on Sunday as he ranted about the intrusive drones that interrupted his game.

LIV Golf employs drones to provide aerial cover and bring spectators closer to the action, but Rahm is clearly not impressed. His frustration boiled over after his first shot on the sixth hole landed in the drink, immediately pointing the finger at the drones.

“Every tournament. It’s ——- amazing. Right in my backswing. These ——- drones every time,” Rahm exploded at LIV Golf Nashville. The Spaniard was hot on the heels of leader and teammate Tyrrell Hatton until disaster struck in the sixth, leaving him needing a flawless back nine to have any chance of taking the win.

Hatton cruised to victory after a weather delay in Tennessee. Rahm, who has yet to record a win at LIV Golf since his high-profile switch from the PGA Tour and signing a deal reportedly in excess of $300 million last year, is apparently feeling the pressure.

This has been a testing year for Rahm; Not only did he fail to retain his Masters title, finishing tied for 45th in the first Major of the season, but he also missed the cut at the PGA Championship and had to withdraw from the US Open due to injury.

Rahm was forced to withdraw from the LIV event in Houston due to a foot injury, after an infected cut on his toe worsened. He expressed his regret in a heartfelt statement: “After consulting with numerous doctors and my team, I have decided that it is best for my long-term health to withdraw from this week’s US Open Championship.”

He added: “To say I’m disappointed is an understatement! I wish all my teammates the best of luck and want to thank all the USGA staff, volunteers and the Pinehurst community for hosting and organizing what I’m sure” . It will be an incredible championship! Hopefully I’ll be back in action sooner rather than later!

Bryson DeChambeau took the US Open title, beating Rory McIlroy by just one stroke, and arrived at LIV Nashville still recovering from the victory celebrations. Despite the raucous support he received entering the first round, DeChambeau confessed that he wasn’t in the best of shape, saying, “I’m a zombie right now, I feel like a dead man walking.”
