However, Douglas chose that precise moment to join them at Forrester’s headquarters… and he wasn’t alone. Hope wondered what Paris was doing there, prompting Douglas to turn around, look at Paris, and say, “Mom?” And when both women responded, “Yes?” Hope was stunned beyond belief and demanded to know why her son had called Paris mom. As Thomas began to explain, Hope noticed the large engagement ring on Paris’s finger and was even more surprised when she announced that they were engaged and planning to get married.
