The India vs Pakistan match began with a break and play at the Nassau County Cricket Stadium as rain greatly ruined the contest. But after many delays, the rain finally stopped and play resumed soon after in catastrophic fashion for the Indian team.

Play resumed and Naseem Shah had the ball in hand for Pakistan. Virat Kohli was at the striker’s end and smashed the first ball for a four. However, the second delivery turned catastrophic when Kohli jumped on a wide ball from Shah and ended up giving away his wicket cheaply for four runs to put India in trouble.

There was a lot of debate whether Virat Kohli should open the innings for the Indian team or not, but in the T20 World Cup, Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid decided to go ahead with Kohli.

However, Virat Kohli’s start has not been as good as his first two innings in the T20 World Cup 2024. In the first innings, Kohli got out for just 1 run against Ireland, while today he got out for 4 in a clash gigantic.
