Following Monday Night Raw on July 8, a new report has revealed that WWE is not putting any pressure on Pat McAfee for his mistake.

On the July 8 edition of WWE Raw, Ilja Dragunov defeated Bron Breakker by disqualification after Breakker threw one of the announcer’s chairs at Dragunov’s head.

After the match, Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn came down to get revenge for an earlier attack by Bron, but Breakker left both men upright.

During the match, WWE Raw commentator Pat McAfee called Breakker a “brick house of shit” on air, to which Michael Cole responded.

Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update, noting that there was no criticism directed at McAfee for his line about Bron Breakker backstage.

The report notes that there was some laughter and a “can’t wait for Netflix” line at the Gorilla position.

WWE Raw will move to Netflix starting in January 2025, with Triple H already confirming that the company will have more flexible language restrictions.

Bron Breakker mentioned Steiner’s name in a promo about Sami Zayn after Monday Night Raw, which you can read here.
