A bride’s hair bow mistake that was captured in her wedding photos has left viewers on social media in stitches.
The bride, known online as @budtenderjazzyy, took to TikTok on June 5 to share photos from her wedding reception. The 24-year-old was all smiles on her big day, but little did she know that she had made a small style slip that clashed with the aesthetic she was hoping to achieve.
More than 5.2 million viewers have viewed the bride’s wedding day photos, all of which feature a striking brown hairband on her wrist that contrasts with the elegant bridal look she had been going for. Text overlaid on the video read: “When you spend thousands of dollars on wedding photos only to realize…”
The black and white portrait of the bride that headlined the video was followed by a series of stunning wedding photos of the married couple. Despite the picturesque setting and the couple’s elegant attire, the dark headband, forgotten amid the hustle and bustle of the wedding day, remained draped around the bride’s wrist in each photo.
The bride offered a joyful message to brides-to-be in the post. “This is your reminder,” she said.
Wedding photos are widely shared on social media, often with meticulous attention to detail, but this video has resonated with many who can relate to the small but notable oversight.
The hilarious reality of spending a significant amount of cash on professional photography only to notice an everyday item like a hair tie peeking out among the results has generated more than 1,700 amused comments. Some users have applauded the bride’s candor or offered advice on how to erase the mistake, while others have shared their own similar wedding day mishaps.
“Just ask your photographer to Photoshop it,” said one user, @harlowboutique.
Another, @katyclark88, added: “Your photographer should have caught that.”
“Not only should the photographer have caught it, but he should have EDITED it because he missed it,” shared a third user, @clutchlady.
“This would be me,” @buonabeauty posted.
Another, @xo.chelsea _ann, commented: “Girl, I forgot to take off my Apple Watch.”
The most supported comment came from @skyler_lemagie. The TikTok user, who has racked up more than 27,000 likes on her blog, said: “As a PROFESSIONAL photographer, they should have noticed…”
