It takes a lot to wow Post Malone, but the usually unflappable “I Had Some Help” frontman seemed genuinely stunned last weekend when he encountered a stiff lookalike backstage at the Governors Ball celebration in New York. In a video clip uploaded by Consequence of soundPosty is seen making her way backstage after her main collection as she takes on her new number heading to Madame Tussauds wax gallery in Las Vegas.
Initially believing he was just another hipster hanging out backstage, Malone walked by at first and said, “I’m so lost right now,” before backtracking and realizing he was looking at a wax mirror. “Are you kidding?” he states with a look of surprise as he walks away. To be reasonable, the paraffin Post creates an uncanny resemblance to his trademark facial tattoos, gold teeth, wide smile, and beer pong devices in his hand.

“I literally thought it was a person,” Post says, grinning at the doppelganger vomiting up the evil horn hand indicator. “Is this hair real?” he asks. “Whose hair is it? Mine? Were you guys in my shower? Malone proclaims to be “impressed” by the level of information, standing before his diamond-encrusted grill, and thanks the people at Tussauds for the “help there…I appreciate it.”
He then admires how they engraved his tattoos perfectly, asks how the information work is done, and wonders if his new bosom buddy can do his tattoos for him. “I would love to catch up on sleep,” says the rapper and singer who is famous for having the expression “Always Tired” tattooed under his eyes. The clip ends with Post putting his arm around the number and then turning it off permanently.
Malone is currently riding high with his No. 1 hit with Morgan Wallen (“I Had Some Help”) and his Gov Ball hit was packed with many hits, including “Congratulations,” “Wow,” “Circles” and “Better.” “Now.” ” to name a few.
