Post Malone got a surprise backstage at the Governors Ball when he encountered a wax figure of himself.
The sculpture was made by Madame Tussauds and is headed to the museum’s Las Vegas location, but Post had to take a look at it ahead of time.
While wandering backstage at the Governors Ball, feeling “so lost right now,” he caught a glimpse of his wax figure and covered his face in shock.
‘Are you kidding?’ The 28-year-old rapper marveled as someone who was with him laughed. “I literally thought he was a person.”
He jokingly asked if the wax figure could take his place on stage at his concerts so he could “catch up on sleep,” in a TikTok posted by Consequence Of Sound.

‘Is this real hair?’ He wondered, and when told it was actually genuine, he joked: “Whose hair is it? Mine?” Were you guys in my shower?
He walked around the figure in amazement, examining its tattoos and glancing at the crotch as he said, ‘Thanks for the help too. I apreciate it.’
Post’s mother, Nicole Frazier, arrived at the scene and called the wax figure “amazing,” adding with a smile, “I like those teeth better.”
The sculpture is dressed in a black turtleneck, a set of black jeans with a crystal belt, cowboy boots and what Madame Tussauds revealed is a Tom Ford suede jacket.
At the moment, Post is making a grand entrance into the country genre and is working on his first full-length country album.
He and Morgan Wallen released a single called I Had Some Help last month and shortly after Post played at the Academy of Country Music Awards.
His full album is called F-1 Trillion, and this Tuesday he proudly announced that it will be released in full near the end of summer, on August 16.
The news came two days after Post celebrated Father’s Day by releasing a 35-second clip of his upcoming country song about a man walking his daughter down the aisle.
“When I accompany her around that island and do what parents have to do,” he sings. “And she may have been dressed in white, but her first dress was pink.”
Post himself became a father in 2022, when his fiancée, who remained out of the public eye, gave birth to their first-born child.
Last August, he shared that he had, in fact, gotten engaged two years earlier when he popped the question to his girlfriend in Las Vegas.
“I had lost a significant amount of money at the table,” he shared on Call Her Daddy, setting the stage before the proposal.
‘We went upstairs and I went crazy and thought, “Hey, will you marry me?” I have a ring and everything. And she said, “No.”
He revealed that his fiancée, who he has not named publicly, said, “Ask me tomorrow” and I said, “Okay.” And then I did it and he was sober and it was nice.’
