Netflix’s One Piece Has a Sword-Related Bug, So a Fan Fixed It Without Any Problem

One Piece fans were shocked by a YouTuber’s perfect correction of a mistake in the popular Netflix show.

On September 12, someone watching the series, which is based on the anime of the same name, shared a snippet of a content creator’s video on Twitter, in which they noticed Zoro’s (fake) sword bending in half during a fight scene. Shocked by the gaffe, the Chinese YouTuber, who goes by 六指淵 Huber, immediately opened Adobe After Effects and set about “straightening” the weapon — and the end result is stunning.

“Netflix needs to hire him after this,” one person replied, while the original writer replied, “Any studio should hire him, let’s be real.”

“Seeing that sword bend triggered something inside me, and it wasn’t a good thing,” another joked.

Released on August 31, One Piece follows a group of pirates, led by eager adventurer Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy), as they explore a fantastical world of endless oceans and exotic islands. Known as the Straw Hat crew, their main mission is to find the greatest treasure in the world and become the next Pirate Kings.

“I have experience using two swords simultaneously and have done live-action shows using swords in the past, but when it comes to three, it’s a different story,” Mackenyu, the actor who plays Zoro, previously told GamesRadar+ . “The training I did for One Piece was specific to Zoro and the skills needed to truly be him. My jaw received on-the-job training!”
