One of Christina Haack’s biggest mistakes in her marriage to Josh Hall was going into business with him and her ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa. Haack partnered with Hall, Tarek, and his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, on several projects, including the upcoming HGTV show “The Flip Off.” And while Hall was booted from the show amid her split from Haack, he could still claim the income — and the El Moussas could be caught in the crossfire. Estate attorney Arash Sadat explains to The List: “If the TV rights are property acquired by either spouse during the marriage, each spouse would likely receive half of its value. As for Tarek, any rights he has to the TV rights would likely come from Christina’s side, not Josh’s.”

Both parties are also asking for spousal support, but Sadat explains that it will be an uphill battle for Haack: “Typically, the spouse with the higher income during the marriage will be the one who has to pay spousal support.” Fortunately, Haack and Hall do not have any children together, making the situation less worrying. However, there is no doubt that the split will affect Haack’s children, which include a son and daughter she shares with Tarek and another child from her marriage to Ant Anstead. Here’s hoping that Christina Haack and Josh Hall can work out their differences without any tough legal battles and that the TV star takes some time away from relationships to heal before she takes on her fourth husband.
