Do not discard tickets purchased by mistake
Instead of his usual 10-point ticket for 10 games, the avid Keno player opted to add a bonus multiplier, which unexpectedly increased the price of the ticket to $40. (around Rs 3,400). When the waiter informed the man about the cost of the ticket and asked if he still wanted to keep it, he decided to go ahead.
According to him, he chose to keep the note, fulfilling his personal rule of never discarding notes that he considers a mistake. “I always save my error tickets,” he explained, fearing that the discarded numbers would win.
Mistake becomes luck
This time his belief was proven correct. During the fourth game, the man watched in disbelief as nine of his ten numbers were drawn. “I said to myself, ‘Oh my God, I got nine out of 10!'” he recalled.
