Telugu actor Dr. Rajshekar’s 2019 film ‘Kalki’ is in the news again for a hilarious reason. Recently, several ‘Kalki’ shows were packed after Prabhas’ fans confused it with his film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. BookMyShow, the ticketing platform, opened screenings for Rajasekhar’s film instead of the Prabhas starrer. It is worth noting that Prabhas and Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ will release in theaters on June 27. Actor Rajasekhar reacted to the error in a funny way on App X. He said that he has nothing to do with the confusion.
Nearly 20 shows of Rajashekar’s ‘Kalki’ were reportedly sold out. Rajasekhar wrote, “Naaku assalu sammandham ledhu (I’m offline). Joking aside… Wishing dear #Prabhas @nagashwin7, Maa #AshwiniDutt garu @VyjayanthiFilms, the stellar cast and crew all the best! May they create history and take the film industry one step ahead @kalki2898ad (sic).”
