Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently addressed the importance of healthy eating on her podcast, Take20. Following the episode’s online release, one internet user pointed out her current emphasis on healthy habits, comparing it to her previous endorsements of unhealthy food and drink brands.

The comment seemed to have affected Samantha deeply. In response, she wrote: “I made mistakes in the past when I didn’t know any better, but I have since turned down many sponsorships. “I believe in practicing what I preach.”

Samantha also mentioned that she has integrated health and fitness into her lifestyle and that she aims to inspire those within her sphere of influence to adopt healthier lifestyles. The actress said that given how much she has learned, it is now difficult to unsee things that she was not aware of before. Be it her choice of food or brands, her entire philosophy now centers around healthy living.

Samantha also emphasized that it is time to make better decisions. She explained that while her previous endorsements may not have been ideal, she now prioritizes partnering with brands that promote health and wellness. The actress makes sure to thoroughly research and personally test the products before promoting them.

On the work front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was last seen in the 2023 film Khushi alongside Vijay Deverakonda. She took a break from acting last year due to her diagnosis of myositis. Her next project includes ‘Citadel India’, where she stars alongside Varun Dhawan. For those unaware, the series is being developed by Raj and DK, the creators of ‘Family Man’ and ‘Farzi’.
