Annie has always been a bit impulsive in Blue lights Season 2. That’s not surprising considering her background, but she almost got fired from the police service.
During episode 5, she let her anger get the best of her. While Canning was mocking her because of the morning selfie he had seen Shane take and share, Annie hit him. This led to her being suspended, and Shane had to step forward to share that Canning had called Annie a dog to help her out of a problem.
Annie took some time to think about her impulsive nature. Becoming a police officer wasn’t a dream. She saw a billboard and signed up that very day. Everything she’s done has been more of an impulsive need, and it’s something she needs to change sometimes.
In great news, Blue lights It has been renewed for a third season. This opens the door for more character development, and this series has already offered plenty of that. Annie is the one the third season should focus on.
At the end of season 2, it seemed like she was learning from her mistakes. She turned down a night with Shane and opted to hang out with her friends instead. I’m glad to see that she didn’t risk Shane taking another selfie like that. She should have been told off for that from the start! It seemed like he got off scot-free this season.
It’s not just about her choice of men, though. She also needs to show growth when it comes to her impulsive nature. At the beginning of season two, it seemed like she had found a way to calm that down, but then things happened to Grace that made her rethink some things. Hopefully, the events of the second half of the series will help her to understand her own future. Blue lights The second season will be enough to make her think before acting, especially when it’s out of anger.
