Perth woman Shannon Ducker was cycling around the island, a tourist favourite 12 miles off the coast of Fremantle, on Sunday when she stopped for a quick break.
When he looked down at the ground, he noticed a small furry creature coming very close to the pedal of his bike.

Quokkas are known to be very friendly and unafraid of humans, but on Rottnest Island it is illegal for visitors to handle or feed the animals, especially human food, as it can make them sick.
